FAQ ABOUT YOUR VISIT

To understand what to expect for your first or subsequent visit to our practice, please read through this page.  Being prepared for your appointment will ensure that the provider has all the necessary information to provide the best possible care for you.

  • If your phone number is correct in our system, you will receive an automated reminder call 2 days prior to your scheduled appointment. This should allow enough time to reschedule your appointment or cancel. If you should have any questions regarding your appointment time, please contact our office specialist at 831-233-6474.

  • You can save some time at your first visit by completing the patient forms in advance of your appointment. We offer 2 ways of getting this done. You can print off the forms from this website, fill them out, and bring them to your visit.  In the future, you can use the patient portal.

  • Make sure you have your insurance card AND photo ID with you at check in. The office staff will scan a copy of both cards in our secure system as required by insurance. If your insurance requires you to pay a co-pay, we will collect it from you at check-in.

  • Please arrive for your appointment 15 minutes early. This allows time for the office staff to finalize the check-in process and answer any questions you may have.

  • Make sure to bring a list of medications that you are currently using. The Clinical Staff will ask questions to understand your medical history and the condition you are being seen for. Make sure you have questions for the provider.    We want you to feel you have all the information needed to understand your treatment and results.

  • A clinical staff member will be assisting the provider during your visit.

  • Once your appointment is done, make sure you stop by the front desk to check out. There, you can schedule a follow up appointment or double check no additional information is required from you.
